Will a glass door affect the cellar's temperature?
It can, if it is specified badly. Glazing choice, seals and a proper door sweep are what keep the conditions in. Tell us how the cellar is conditioned and we will specify to it, that conversation matters more than the door's appearance.
Single or double glazing?
It depends on the temperature difference between the cellar and the room outside it, and on whether condensation is a risk. We work that out at the measure rather than defaulting to one answer.
Can you match the hardware to our other doors?
In most cases yes. Show us the existing handles and hinges and we will tell you what we can match.
Can the door be frameless?
Yes, and it looks superb, but a frameless door seals differently from a framed one. If the cellar is actively cooled we will talk you through which is the better fit before you decide.
